    Default Bucksweep

I was watching some film on a school who kicked out with the play-side tackle on buck sweep. They pulled backside guard the same as traditional buck. Would they be doing this for a false read key? Do any of you try this and why do you do it? Thanks

Some teams do that if the defense is covering the guard & it is to difficult to fill for the guard.

  3. Default T-Sweep

We ran this play against a team that was keying our guards heavily. We sent our playside guard onto the playside LB giving him an ON read which held him in place. Playside Tackle pulled and kicked out - it worked very well as a change up and held the LB's.

We also have done this in the past and all we do is make a switch call in the huddle. We also sometimes against 50 front teams actually have the sg and the st switch spots, thus the guard is still pulling, once a team catches on we run counter x cross.
