    Default Forest Evashevski

Forest Evasheski, the great coach at Iowa who led them to 2 rose bowl wins in the late 1950s, passed away recently. I would like to recognize him and his contribution to the wing-t offense. He and david nelson wrote one of the first books on the wing-t called scoring power with the winged-t offense. I've seen a few clips of his iowa teams running the wing-t and it was beautiful. A division 1 college football team running the ball with precision and deception. Everyone blocked. Everyone faked.

A piece of Wing-T History and tradition. May he rest in peace.
