Program Evaluation

I am a first year varsity head coach and we just completed our first we went 5-5 and lost in the first round of the playoffs. I am wondering what everyone does to evaluate their season. Do you have your assistant coaches evaluate the season and you the head coach? Do you evaluate your assistants? Just looking for ideas.

Evaluate the state of the program--my opinion---coaches---players
Evaluate all coaches--
Evaluate teaching practices
What needs to continue
What needs to be eliminated
What needs to be fixed
etc

Does anyone have and evaluation form already put together so I don't have to reinvent the wheel? If anyone does that would be great.

Along the lines of what was already said...

Have each coach fill out a sheet that has "Stop, Start, Continue"

Here they list things we need to stop doing, start doing, and continue doing.

If the coach sees the same thing multiple times, it's pretty important.

Also, coaches will feel like they have some input into the program. And if you're open minded, assistants will come up with some great suggestions.
