Spread Shotgun Wing T offense can be employed in many ways. A lot of coaches including myself didn't consider Gus Malzahn to be a wing T coach based on how his system was displayed since he arrived on the college scene. But after watching how the plays unfolded and saw how the blocking was explained, it's a verification of the wing T in many ways from the 30 Series power run package and and 20 Series stuff alone.

We all know the details of how Gus' Offense was scrapped by Houston Nutt after only one game. Despite the restraints, Arkansas still won the SEC West Division in 2006. The following Year Gus took his offense to Tulsa and showed to the country that a "High School Offense" can work at the next level if the process is trusted and not rushed.

5,000 yards passing, three 1,000 yard receivers, and a 1, 000 yard rusher isn't bad along with Chad Morris winning numerous ACC titles and showed that the Spread Shotgun Wing T is effective.

Here's a link to the 2007 Tulsa Clinic and see how the plays are compatible with one another.
