    silkyice,

What are your rules for your counter. I saw in one of the games, the tackle and end pulled. Is it determined by who is covered and uncovered?

    Thanks

I believe you saw the WB counter.

    WB counter off down action
    SE: stalk
    LT: Down
    LG: Down
    C: Back
    RG: Back
    RT: Trap LDE
    TE: Pull Wall L
WB: Drop step and run counter
FB: Fake and kickout right off TE pull
    HB: Fake Sweep
QB: Reverse out deep and hand to WB

We also run a WB counter off bucksweep action with a double handoff (criss-cross)

    Criss-cross
    SE: stalk
    LT: Down
    LG: Down
    C: Back
    RG: Back
    RT: Pull Wall L
    TE: DE
WB: Drop step and run counter
FB: Fake trap and kickout left
HB: Take handoff and hand to WB
QB: Handoff to HB and fake waggle left, try and block someone (or get in pitch relationship )

Both have a down block, kickout, and lead thru. Both are good plays and accomplish the same thing. I normally do not carry two plays that do the same thing, but I do here. The reasons are:

Sweep criss-cross is my more favored play. But if I do not want to risk a double handoff then we run the WB counter. Also, if the defense is heavy keying the FB, then WB counter is better.

After watching some of your cut-ups, I can see why they would key your FB.
