Default Smoke & Mirrors Wing T

Has anyone had any experience with the Smoke & Mirrors Wing T system?

I know Coach Meadows spoke at last year's National Wing T Clinic (I was unable to make it) and has a website with a number of his clinic presentations and video clips. I've talked with him via email quite a bit and he's been very helpful.

I was just wondering if anyone has run any of his system and how it worked out for you? In the past we did a fair amount of blending the gun/UC stuff before we went Pistol in 2017 (didn't work out well, but we were pretty young also) but I really like what I've seen from Coach Meadows on video.

I'm not familiar with that system but I'll take a look at some film and give you some thoughts about it

Coach Schelb: I've looked at his dvd and it looks a lot like what Pat Murphy was/is doing in MT. Buck Sweep RPO and others. Good stuff but you better have a QB who can read well and is fearless!!!

    Coach Jonston,

I agree I thought the same thing. The one big difference I see is that the stuff Coach Meadows is doing is really much more inclusive of a ton of different formations and he doesn't get under center at all. Coach Murphy has told me they always had UC stuff as well and the gun stuff was more to feature a dude at QB.

I asked Coach Meadows old OL coach about how things might work if you didn't have a QB who was a great runner back there and he said that one of Coach Meadows last years as Pigeon Forge their QB was not a great athlete, ran a 5.2 40. But he read the BS DE really well so there were alot of times he kept it and just kept people honest which protected their other runs (their RB had 2400 yards). He did say that if he can't run well and he couldn't throw the ball you might have some issues which is understandable. But I know I've had years where our QB wasn't very good as a passer and we were scared to run him because he was our only one and we were able to hang on because of the deception and multiple ball carriers UC gives you.

I do love how multiple he gets with some of the gun formations while at the same time still just running regular Buck, Belly, Trap. Seems like it would be very tough for defense.
